This role will be responsible for guiding the platform strategy and team for the developer portal and client facing REST API offering. Responsibilities: • Create and own the platform strategy and roadmap for the developer experience with input from internal partners, customers, and technology teams. Ensure the roadmap supports overall Onbe strategy. • Communicate vision and platform requirements. • Participate in high-impact discovery sessions with customers and partners. • Accountable for overall developer experience team agile backlog. • Aid in the creation of the overall product budget and pricing and work with the Product Strategy team to ensure platform is meeting those goals. • Shape the platform by setting the functionality, design, monetization and content parameters of the platform. • Define platform critical metrics and success criteria for the platforms in collaboration with Product Strategy department and partners. Perform ongoing checks of how platform is performing against that success criteria. • Participate in development of the core positioning and value propositions for products based on platform. • Partner closely with Product and Marketing departments to understand competitive threats and market state. • Present in demos and strategic roadmap sessions with clients. • Responsible for client facing implementation consultation and support. • Help in the development of platform-based product-related sales tools and collateral, and assist with development of documentation by providing functional knowledge of technical infrastructure and platforms. • Lead collaborations and discussions among cross-functional teams for platform capabilities. • Work closely with Scrum Master to guide team members in working with technology teams to assess tech capabilities to support the platform. • Mentor teammates in product development activities. Must have at least a Master’s degree in Computer Science or in a in a related field and 30 months of experience in this role or in a related role. Must have completed graduate level coursework in Cloud Computing and Security, Data Mining and Computer Forensics, and must be able to use Agile and Scrum. Job Location: Naperville, IL.
