Smart Property Management, LLC is seeking a handyman to join its team. We manage 275+ units across Chicago.

The responsibilities of the Maintenance technician include, but are not limited to:

-Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electrical systems, all major appliances, and other building systems
-Demonstrate general skills in basic carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and general craftsmanship
-Respond to resident service request orders and ensure timely completion
-Maintain routine preventative maintenance programs as required
-Oversee work of vendors and contractors as needed
-Coordinate with venders and contractors to obtain bids and proposals for maintenance repairs, replacements, and unit turnover work as requested
-Perform work as needed to restore vacant apartments to move in ready condition when tenants vacate including but not limited to cleaning, painting and repairs
-Clean common areas and grounds daily and keep well maintained
-Shovel snow and salt from walkways when necessary
-Conduct move-in and move-out inspections as directed
-Provide superior customer service to all residents and prospects

Pay $15/hour to start. Benefits available.
