POWER TEST

Applications are now being accepted from qualified individuals for seasonal public works employment. Employment period will be from May through September. The position requires physical labor and will be in the Streets, Forestry, Water, Sewer, and Public Buildings Divisions.

Work hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm five days per week, with one weekend day required as part of the five day work schedule. Starting pay rate is $11.00 per hour.

Applicants must be 16 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. Candidates must be self-motivated and possess strong communication skills. Selected candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, as well as a post-offer medical physical and drug screen.
